What makes Creek & Current rods different?
Every rod we build is rooted in a specific place, be it a river, a region, or an iconic feature like the General Sullivan Bridge. Our small-batch line is designed to cover the full range of New England fishing, from tight mountain brooks to open tidal flats. We use high-quality, domestically sourced components and build each rod by hand with thoughtful care and intention.
What rods are currently available?
Our small-batch line currently includes three ready-to-fish models:
- The Kingdom Keeper — inspired by the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, ideal for smaller streams and wild brook trout.
- The North Woods Wanderer — built for the remote rivers and ponds of northern New Hampshire.
- The General — a heavier build inspired by the Piscataqua River, designed for big fish in big water.

Do you do custom rod builds?
Yes. Custom one-off builds are our bread and butter. Reach out via our Contact page to discuss specs, timeline, and pricing. Custom builds are quoted individually based on components and complexity, and require a deposit of 50% up front invoiced upon order finalization.
Do you repair rods?
Yes, we offer rod repair services. Whether it's a broken tip, damaged guides, or a full rewrap, get in touch and we'll assess what's needed. Contact us through the Contact page to get started.
Lessons & Education
What lessons do you offer?
We offer fly fishing lessons for all skill levels, from complete beginners to experienced anglers looking to sharpen their technique. Lessons cover casting, reading water, fly selection, and more. Browse our Lessons & Educational Services for current offerings.
Who teaches the lessons?
Lessons are led by Camden and his wife, who together develop the curriculum and instruct students on the water. We keep groups small to ensure a quality, personalized experience.
Where do lessons take place?
Lessons are held on local waters in the New Hampshire seacoast and surrounding region. Specific locations are confirmed at booking based on conditions and skill level.
Do I need my own gear for a lesson?
Not necessarily. Reach out before booking and we can discuss what you'll need. We have spare gear available, but we are also happy to point you toward the right setup of your own if you're just getting started.
Ordering & Shipping
Where do you ship?
We ship throughout the United States, and to some international destinations. Rods are hand delivered when possible. All rods are carefully packaged to ensure they arrive safely.
How long does shipping take?
Small-batch rods in stock typically ship within 1–3 business days. Custom builds have longer lead times depending on component availability and build queue. We will give you a clear timeline when you order.
What is your return policy?
If there's an issue with your order, please reach out through our Contact page and we'll make it right. Custom builds and associated deposits are non-refundable once production has begun.
